R.A. Mitchell sells, rebuilds and provides parts for Lister Petter Engines. We have a large inventory of parts for various models. Our Trained technicians have been rebuilding and servicing these engines for over 30 years!
LPA Series – The LPA series engines are built with thin-wall cast iron crank cases for a quieter operation. These models (LPA2, LPA3) are air-cooled direct injection diesel engines.
LPW Series – LPW models (LPW2, LPW3, LPW4) are water cooled direct injection engines with cast iron ribbed thin-wall crankcases.
LPWS Series – LPWS models (LPWS2, LPWS3, LPWS4) are water cooled, direct injection diesel engines with cast iron ribbed thin-wall crankcases.
A Series – The A series engines are air cooled, direct injection diesel engines, built with a light-weight aluminum crankcase.
L Series – The L series engines are air-cooled, direct injection diesel engines that have a cast iron crank case built for durability.
T Series – Air cooled direct injection diesel engines.
Mr. Robert A. Mitchell sold this first 1 cyl. Lister Diesel in 1957. He bought the engine back and it has been the center of attention in the showroom at R. A. Mitchell Co ever since. This engine originally powered a small “take out” winch on the deck of the MAJOR J.CASEY owned by Capt. Mike Griffith. It’s a constant reminder to us that hard work, dedication and service goes a long way.
